PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Main Unit (UID) Banten has introduced the SPKLU Center at Aloha PIK, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, Tangerang Regency, as part of its efforts to strengthen the electric vehicle ecosystem in Banten Province. The facility marks a strategic step in providing faster, centralized, and more integrated charging services that align with public lifestyle activities and modern public spaces.
The inauguration of the SPKLU Center was attended by Adi Priyanto, Director of Retail and Commerce of PT PLN (Persero); Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, Regent of Tangerang; Ari James Faraddy, Head of the Energy and Mineral Resources Agency (ESDM) of Banten Province; Muhammad Joharifin, General Manager of PLN UID Banten; and Bobby Cristya Surya, Senior Manager of Commerce and Customer Management at PLN UID Banten.
Adi Priyanto stated that the presence of the SPKLU Center reflects PLN’s commitment to providing charging services that are increasingly adaptive to public needs. “The SPKLU Center at Aloha PIK2 is PLN’s first centralized SPKLU facility in Banten Province featuring Ultra Fast Charging services. We want to ensure that the public has access to charging facilities that are fast, convenient, and comfortable as the adoption of electric vehicles continues to grow,” he said.
